Booking a Corfu apartment directly: what to check
When booking a Corfu apartment directly, agree the dates, total price, payment arrangements and cancellation conditions in writing. At Eda House, sending the enquiry form starts a conversation; it does not confirm a reservation. A booking becomes confirmed when you accept the details we provide.

What information belongs in an enquiry?
Include your check-in date, check-out date, number of guests and any practical question that affects your decision. Eda House accommodates up to two guests. Arrival time, bed arrangements and access requirements are worth discussing before you commit.
The enquiry form requires an email address and a WhatsApp number. Begin the number with + and your international country code, for example +44 7700 900123. Use a number on which you can receive our reply; the format check cannot verify whether the number is registered with WhatsApp.
You do not need to put passport details, payment-card numbers or sensitive personal information in the message box. The form is for an initial accommodation enquiry.
Does sending the form reserve the apartment?
No. The form checks your requested dates against approved stays and submits an enquiry for review. Availability can change, and the final booking terms still need to be agreed. A success message means that the enquiry was received, not that you have a confirmed reservation.
We respond by WhatsApp or email to discuss availability. Before confirmation, ask for the final accommodation price, applicable statutory charges, payment arrangements and cancellation conditions. Keep the written response so that both sides have the same understanding.
Which payment methods are available?
Payment at the property is available by card or in cash in euros (EUR) or Romanian lei (RON). Confirm the final amount, accepted payment arrangement and currency with us before arrival. If a conversion is required, agree the applicable rate and amount in advance; do not assume that a displayed euro amount can simply be paid in another currency.
The public website does not collect payment-card details or operate an online card checkout. Any deposit or other payment requirement must be specified in your individual written booking terms. Be cautious if a message asks you to pay under conditions that differ from those already agreed.
What should the written confirmation cover?
- The exact apartment, dates and number of guests.
- The total accommodation price and any statutory charges.
- The payment currency, method and any deposit deadline.
- Cancellation, changes, no-show and refund conditions.
- Check-in, check-out and any agreed arrival variation.
- Any special arrangement that is material to your stay.
The standard published times are check-in from 13:00 and check-out by 11:00. Ask about a different arrival or departure arrangement before relying on it. Availability for an early check-in or late check-out should never be assumed.
How can you check the accommodation itself?
Review the gallery and public Google reviews, then compare the photographs with the facilities described on the apartment page. Ask about anything essential to your plans, such as current Wi-Fi performance or access. A favourable review reflects a guest’s experience, not a guarantee that every stay will meet a different traveller’s requirements.
Where are the booking and privacy notices?
Read our terms and conditions and privacy and cookie notice. Your individual written booking terms contain the price and conditions specific to your stay. If anything is unclear, ask before confirming. This guide explains our enquiry process; it does not replace the terms agreed for your reservation.
