What should you arrange before you fly?

The optional Google map loads only after you choose to view it; the external directions link is available without accepting the embedded map.

Give us your flight number, planned landing time and an estimate of when you expect to reach the apartment. Landing time is not arrival time: passport checks where applicable, baggage collection and the journey all take additional time. Discuss late arrivals before booking, rather than assuming that reception is staffed around the clock.

Taxi or pre-arranged transfer?

A taxi or arranged transfer can keep the journey straightforward when you have luggage or arrive outside convenient bus times. The official Corfu Airport website provides airport access information, including taxi and public-bus guidance. Check its current advice before departure.

For an arranged transfer, request a written quote, meeting instructions and the procedure for a delayed flight. Confirm whether the fare includes luggage, waiting time and any requested child seat. With an airport taxi, establish how the fare is calculated before setting off. We do not publish a fixed fare because provider terms and local charges can change.

Can you travel by public transport?

Public transport may be suitable if the current timetable fits your flight and you are comfortable managing luggage and any connections. Do not assume that one bus runs directly from the airport to your apartment. Ask the operator about the correct service, interchange, stop and final walking route.

• Check the timetable for the actual date and day of the week.
• Allow for a missed connection if your flight is delayed.
• Confirm ticket purchase and payment arrangements.
• Check the last service if you land in the evening.
• Keep an alternative plan in case the onward route is inconvenient.

A route useful for daytime sightseeing may not be the best option after a late flight. Compare the complete door-to-door journey rather than the ticket price alone.

When does a hire car make sense?

Consider a hire car if you also intend to explore several parts of Corfu. Check collection hours, driving-licence requirements, the deposit, insurance excess and fuel policy before paying. An inexpensive daily rate can be misleading if the conditions do not suit your trip.

Eda House lists on-site parking among its facilities. Tell us if you plan to arrive by car and ask about the current access arrangements. Keep the property pin ready, and allow time to familiarise yourself with the route instead of relying on an ambitious arrival estimate.

What if your flight is delayed?

Message your transport provider and accommodation as soon as you have a reliable update. Ask in advance whether the transfer provider follows the flight or needs you to make contact. Keep the international WhatsApp number you used in your enquiry available during travel.

The published check-in time at Eda House is from 13:00 and check-out is by 11:00. Any variation must be agreed with us. A delayed flight does not automatically change the accommodation’s agreed arrival arrangements.

Before leaving home, keep your booking confirmation, transport arrangements, property pin, contact numbers and agreed check-in instructions together.
